I'm looking for either plays or musicals for family audiences that can be performed on a VERY small stage (13 deep x 16 wide).

all ideas appreciated!

I've been in, and/or directed almost all of these shows. I know they can be performed on the size stage you described. What I don't know is how much wing/backstage area you have.

A few of the shows I named have some adult themes, but most are G to PG13 types. - Key piece of advice: Use your space, and don't be afraid.

There are even a few Shakespeares you can do. A Midsummer Night's Dream comes immediately to mind. (Again, you'd need decent offstage room to stash the actors when they're not on stage.)

Hope this helps. If you need any advice along the way, I'd be glad to be your sounding board.

I love that line "don't be afraid"
Awesome advice, you will be amazed how well things can work if you just go for it. If need be, hide actors behind scenery, up ladder even down in audience.
