You really have some great talent there. 10 boned corsets for show? You must be crazy! It really does look like this show cost a ton to put on...but I read that you only used $890? The detail looks amazing, any closer pics that we can see of it? Oh nice, that sounds like a great unique theater to produce shows out of. I have never done any 18th century fancy menwear...like Amadeus would be fantastic.

Simplicty,

Thanks!!! The corsets were fun to do, and def. allowed me to experience some work in that area. We always try to do our shows on a really low budget so as much money as possible goes to the building we are putting them on in. I would love to sew/design for Amadeus someday!!! So expensive to do though!

Your costumes are works of art! We are considering doing Pirates of Penzance at our high school next year. I would LOVE to know what you did to update it and reset it. I think my kids would go nuts to do a Caribbean version, since they all love the movies.

Hey Peacock! Thanks for the compliment. Right now I'm working on an 1880's show for this march. It's our first time doing bustles and all the detail work that goes along with them, but it's a blast!

With regard to Pirates of P. If you PM me i would be happy to send you the script that we used, completed with updated song lyrics and a bit of a new storyline...there is a curse etc etc that the pirates have to overcome by marrying the sisters. Does that make sense?

Definitley shoot me a PM and we can chat some more!
