I am directing the Playscripts version of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by T. Mason.  Anyone have any set photos they'd like to share? I have a 30ft. prosc. and 10 ft. a ceiling (ms "cafetorium") The ceiling over the apron is much bigger.

Thanks for your help!

I did a really cool set for our version, but my only pics are on facebook. Sorry.

It looked like crates on the side of a river in a forced perspective, so that on one side, large boxes (flats) were stacked 10 ft tall and on the other side, they sloped down to 1 ft tall. You could walk on top of them up to the 6 ft mark and then escape stairs led down. The tall side had a box that hinged out to make a window in Aunt Polly's and then the whole wall hinged out to become a stained glass window of a church. Another couple of boxes hinged inwards to become the cave entrance and the jail cell for Muff. On the other side, I did a small round floor for the island and at the beginning of the show, a dirty fence was on it. The boards were attached with a hole too big for a screw so that as the kids "painted" they just turned them around to the white side. Even theatre veterans were scratching their heads on this effect.

People called it the "swiss army knife set" because it looked so simple but did so much in a representational kind of way. Befriend me on facebook if you want to see pics.
