Simply send them an invitation via e-mail or a letter
in care of their publication. Most newspapers &
magazines have this info readily available.

Tell them about your theater, it's mission statement
and the current production. Include any information
you think might be useful/newsworthy.

Tell them you will have two (2) FREE tickets waiting
for them at the box office so they can bring a friend [if
they've got one!]. It's best to not mention a specific
date, but give them options for early in the run as
most critics can only attend so many shows per
week.

Critics in our town will not review a show if the run is
less than four weeks.

I'd suggest researching their reviews first. Some
critics are more generous than others. Don't invite
trouble.
