wow - I had completely forgotten - I played Father Rivard in "The Runner Stumbles" years ago. I liked that play. Though, I can remember thinking at the time that there were just too damn many words LOL. |
It was a lovely time on stage, but I'm afraid all the ensuing offstage drama left me with a bad taste for it.
Strike a light Eve! Did you get it on video? (You could write your own take on Applause) Sounds as though it is a possibile take on the onstage drama! |

TristanRobin, didn't you love performing the last scene of Act 1? With the slapping and the knife and everything? If we had to list our favorite scenes that would definitly be on mine.

yes! all that melodrama is such fun!

After reading tristanrobin's additions to his original list of favs, I realized that I had left off some plays that I had worked tech on one version and performed in another. I'm sure this isn't as fascinating to you as it is to me, but I'm having fun! Another directing favorite, close to the top of my list: "1940's Radio Hour"
Plays done more than once: "Gypsy" 4x - each of the three different strippers and Dainty June, plus I directed/choreographed it one of the times I stripped. "Arsenic and Old Lace 5x - directed it 3x, played Abby 2x "Charlie Brown" 2x - directed and choreographed both times "The Curious Savage" 2x - directed 1x, played Mrs. Savage 1x "1776" 2x - designed set once, played Abigail once "LaMancha" 2x - lights once, make-up once "Working" 2x - in cast both times, directed and choreographed once, and only choreographed once "Story Theatre" 2x - directed both Thanks for indulging me! |

Acting: Lady Bracknell - The Importance of Being Earnest Senor Leonato - Much Ado About Nothing (OK, I'd have to do Leonato as a cross-gender role, but I love it in Act IV) |
