Anyone have advice or suggestions on creating a field of sugar cane? Perhaps someone has done the show and can tell me what they did?
So far I have found one source for fake sugar cane plants and it is a supplier out of China... and I'm still waiting to hear back about minimum orders and pricing. I suspect that it's going to be really expensive to ship even if I can afford the minimum order quantity. |

Concentrate on making the downstage portion look good, then fill in the back with generally green and brown stuff..
maybe bamboo is the place to start?

You're probably right... i could use bamboo and tape/glue some sort of longish leaves to it and keep it shadowy... besides not like anyone in IA knows what sugar cane really looks like right?
