How It Works

Once you sign up for the affiliate program, CafePress will assign you an affiliate ID number, or PID. The PID is how CafePress tracks the sales and traffic generated by your site, so you need to append it to every link that you build to our products. For example, the link for the Community Theater Green Room Originals homepage is:

To send a customer from your site and get a commission on anything they buy, add a question mark and your PID to the URL like this:

Show Products on Your Site with AP Link Builder!

A free and easy way to grab properly-formatted links and images of individual products to place on your site is to get the AP Link Builder from JGoode's CP Tools - it's actually just a URL that you add to your browser's bookmarks or favorites. When you visit the page of one of our products that you'd like to sell on your site, you simply click AP LinkBuilder in your Favorites or Bookmarks folder (or the corresponding button on your toolbar, if you display it there), and it will show you a page that allows you to customize the link, then creates copy-and-paste HTML for text and image links that already includes your own PID!

I opened Community Theater Green Room Originals in the spring of 2006 to sell community theater designs, mostly because it seemed that all the theater stuff out there was geared to professional Broadway shows. My shop dovetails nicely with my real life -- I manage an in-house creative services team, and before that, I worked for many years as a graphic designer. And when I'm not at work, of course, I act, design sets, and do all those other jobs that community theater requires at my home theater, the Kent County Theatre Guild in Dover, DE.
