Hi Theater Friends,

I am interested in performing Dr. Seuss at local grade schools through Reader's Theater or other means.  Any suggestions?  What about royalties? We want to do it in honor of his birthday in March.  Thanks, Andrea

Hi Andrea,

This reply is a bit late for you, but look at "Seussical -- the Musical".  Could be what you are looking for.

Hi,
Dr. Seuss books lend themselves well to Reader's Theatre style of
presentation. Actually, most kids books do. I like the series of picture
books by the author of THE TEACHER FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. I also
liked using the MISS NELSON books and the picture books by Judy Viorst.
Give them a try!

Colin
