Subject: Trying to start a theater group.

Hello. I am trying to start a theater group in my town, and I am not sure what I need to do. If anyone has any tips, or can recomend a site that could help me out, I would greatly apperciate it. Also, does anyone know how to get funding for a production.

This site has several articles on forming a theater group - let me recommend "Should You Start Your Own Theater Company?" to start. Go to the home page (www.communitytheater.org) and click "articles".

The Americal Association of Community Theaters (www.aact.org) also has a series of articles on starting a new theater group.

Look at previous discussions on this page for information on getting started and on funding.

I'll be glad to answer any specific questions you may have.
