I am looking for a comedy or c comedy/drama script for a small female cast to do as a Relay for Life benefit, will have only 1 month to practice due to Bus stop production the prior month, any suggestions?

I can't think of any scripts right off hand, but in your circumstance you might consider something like reader's theater. That way you don't have to worry about being "spot on" with no time to practice.

What about "Steel Magnolias" ? It would be a perfect choice given your parameters: small, all female cast and it the subject matter would be very conducive to your "Relay for Life" project. Could do a reader's theatre if time is running too short for a full production. Let us know what you choose.

Try "Voices" -- it is an AMAZING script that is for women and about women. It's beautiful, can be done with stools and no other set, easy lights, no sound ... all character. And could easily be done as reader's theatre.
