I am directing my first community theater show starting in one week. (I have done lots of high school theater). We are doing Drowsy Chaperone, and I am a little surprised at how few stage directions there are in the script. I have never seen the show, so I have a lot of questions.

Anyone out there have some hints or tips?

Yeah, the script is a pain. It gives NO indication of all the physical bits in the show. You'll need to track down a bootleg DVD of the Broadway production.

Luckily, I had seen the touring company.

You should ask Mr. Lowell on this forum, he recommended the play highly. Perhaps he has a video or notes he can share.
