I'm directing Auntie Mame, wondering if you'd change any of the words that young Patrick has to use, such as "bastard" and "son of a bitch"?

The easy answer is that your contract with Dramatists does not allow you to change any words of the script.

If you dislike the words in the script, so much, produce a different script. It's as simple as that.
