Hi, I am currently on the slate to MD Seven Brides..... and The Wedding Singer. I am looking for more specific score questions: difficulty of parts, superfluous parts, etc. If any of you MD's or Conductors are willing to field my questions or refer me to specific websites, chatrooms, etc.  I would really appreciate it.
I am trying to recruit my players early as the good ones tend to be booked up by the time the actual material arrives.
Thanks

mtishows.com has good info on any musical they license (which is a lot of them!), including song samples, vocal ranges for actors, instrumentation for the orchestra, as well as categorization of the difficulty of the dancing, etc.

There's also a forum at musicals.net that may be more helpful for you.

Those are hopefully useful starting places.  I don't really know either of these shows (mostly a straight play fella myself, although I do play in pits sometimes), so this is as far as I go on this one.
