Best source for wireless headsets - doesn't have to be top of the line but of good quality

These sound good even when compared to our Countryman E6, and no one has managed to break one yet.

We have been using these mics for a couple years and love the sound. Do ask for the more robust Mogami cables though. All of these types of mics are very fragile, especially where the cable connects to the mic or connector ends. They have been very good about repairs but it is better to not have them fail.

You want to train your crew to put the mics on before the costumes so that the cables don't get stressed during costume changes. Leave a big enough loop at both ends to keep them from being stressed during movement. The drug stores sell a variety of clips designed for hair that can be useful for tying down the cable. Pick up some clear surgical tape while you are there. It's a good Idea to protect the transmitter (body pack) from sweat too. Pros tend to use condoms for that.
