Any one have a pattern or info to make mic belts for sennheiser body packs? Like to make them that the school can reuse them again so sizing is also an issue.Wink

Not sure if this was answered, but for my theatre we bought neoprene foam can cozies that we found at the dollar store, went to Walmart and bought wide elastic (cut into different sizes) and plastic belt clips. Sewed the belt clips and cozies to elastic. Have been using them for about 5 years now.

Typically I get my wardrobe mistress to measure the transmitters in question and sew up some belts. I wish I still had some photos of some to share. However they do not need to be complicated.
I've used ones made out of raw muslin, a pocket sewn on with a closing flap, and a "belt" long enough to go around the waist, with velcro or typical "belt" hardware, or even nice strong clasps or snaps. Some elastic helps with comfort.
Allows for the actor to still have freedom of movement, jump, dance, do acrobatics etc without dropping the transmitter.

We have literally made mic packs out of socks and safety pinning to costumes (for low impact shows).
