Sometimes the mind plays tricks on us. It's not Inge who wrote The Playboy of the Western World, it's J.M. Synge. (Synge, Shmynge!)A wonderful irish drama, and it's in the public domain. And here's a great site for plays in the public domain I just dug up to atone for my sin: http://www.vl-theatre.com/list4.shtml
