There is a show that closed several years ago called "!Hero: The Rock Opera." My church youth group watched the DVD of the show and want to perform it. The problem is that all sites about the show take you to a website, which looks to be active and current but no one responds to any emails.

Searching online is a dead-end. I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of the show and knows where it can be licensed / or if it can be licensed

Unfortunately, if the folks licensing the show aren't taking of their business, you may be out of luck.

If you're looking for shows for a youth group, though, you might want to check out some of our plays and musicals at http://www.youthplays.com - www.youthplays.com . We have a number of great choices for teens.

Thanks Jon! It stinks because all of our kids really wanted to do this show. It's just so strange that someone out there is paying for a website & domains for their site but no one responds to anything. The major selling point for the kids was that it is a rock opera about Jesus so it's music the kids can relate to and so on.

The rock opera was written by Eddie DeGarno. He's on facebook.You might also try Forefront Records, the christian music publishing company he founded. I don't know if they have the rights, but they should have his contact info.
