I am looking for some classes, clinics or workshops for directors.  Anyone know of some good ones coming up this summer?  We are in Colorado but would travel anywhere if we knew it was a good workshop.
Thanks!

Theatre Ontario ( I know that's pretty far to travel, but two years ago they had a contingent from Bermuda!) puts on a week long Adult theatre training program every summer.   They haven't announced 2011 yet, but last summer they offered two directing courses.

They had an introduction to directing, ( "Who's the boss here anyway?" with John P. Kelly), but the most amazing course was their inaugural "Director's Symposium", which I attended.   We had a different professional director/Artistic Director every day - some of the top professionals in the country - and they discussed how they personally approached their craft. The discussions were facilitated by the use of a script that they were either currently working on, or had recently directed. The plays we discussed ranged the whole gamut - from Marat/Sade to the Drawer Boy to Ruined.   It was an incredible week, and I learned so much - everyone was so willing to share!

Here's the link for future reference.   www.theatreontario.org
