Hi Everyone-

Has anyone done Stop Kiss? What are the pros/cons? I read it and really enjoyed it, but I wanted to see if anyone had feedback from a production.

I read it and really liked it. It's a great play to showcase a couple of talented young women. And it's a very topical script and has some really funny and touching moments. The scene where the journalist dresses the victim and then says "please...pick me" is heart wrenching.

The narrative structure is really interesting too. The only problem of making the script a solid production would be handling all the quick changes, but as long as you have a good strategy I'm sure it would be a nice piece of theatre.

It's certainly a play I want to do at some point.

I recently saw a local production. The scene changes are definitely a challenge. This group had them well choreographed and accompanied by music but it was still something that people mentioned afterward. However, everyone really liked the show.
