We need new 2 way radios for our theater. It is small, there is not access from stage to sound booth except through the audience. I need the least expensive set of radios that would do the trick. I am a total non-techie, so please make explanation simple. I would like four radios on one wavelength if that is possible.

I had to do a little research here
your profile says you are in
Bangladesh so I checked around
In
Bangladesh and much of Europe and Asia there is available what are called PMR446 radios these are walkie talkie type radios that you can use to communicate short distances of up to a few kilometers. you can probably get them at local electronic stores. I am not sure if there is a license required for these in your country It seems that most countries do not but its best to check. I can confirm that they are allowed in Bangladesh as described in Bangladesh National Frequency Allocation Plan.
best is to go to a retailer that sells PMR466 radios and ask about licensing. Hope this helps
