We are currently being offered a rather large space at a phenomenal price at an outlet mall right off a major interstate.  I believe this space may be over 10k sq. feet.  We do not have anything but hard work and a small budget to turn this into probably a black box.

Does anyone know where I can look for things like used theater seats, lights, and anything else to furnish a venue?

I have access to inexpensive used, but great shape, grand drapes, Blue, 22' x 50' if you are interested.  These can be a good way to define the playing space and create entrance areas as wings.
Be aware that these are real, velour full drapes, each half weighs approx 250 lbs.

I also have access to discounted freight services to get them to you.

Wow..do you know how much?  I'm trying to get some kind of idea before a board meeting on Tuesday.  I found 118 seats about 4 hours away for a steal!  Less than 5 dollars a seat.  I've seen pictures.  They look awesome.  I think I am, once again, jumping in over my head..lol  I know enough about theatre to probably be dangerous..Ain't life grand!

Start with a plan & remember the 5 P's.
Find a theatre techie or an electrician to ensure there is adaquate power availability into the premises to run an average production.
Put out feelers to theatre hire & supply Companies to see if they have any gear they are updating or damaged & ready to chuck into the rubbish bin.
Scrounge around other theatre venues for unwanted stuff they want to get rid of.
Frankly I'd make a mock up rough near scale model of the venue, using the good old Lego system & tart it up for presentation as a visual aid.
Start a 'Want & basic wish list' of gear needed & what you can get away with or around.
Recycle & Salvage yards are good place to find used gear that can be fixed up cheaply, especialy with electrical requirements & building materials.

The Blue Grand Drapes are $1200.  They are full velour 22' x 30' each side for a total of 22' high x 60' wide in very good shape.  If you are interested let me know and I will get the shipping cost to Georgia.
