Hey all!

Was just wondering what the smallest possible cast for Joseph. I saw it MANY MANY years ago with a small cast, but i can't remember how many there were. Can the brothers double as all the other men needed in the show?

I did a production with a cast of brothers doubling all the other characters. We had four wives, who were also the Pharaoh's girls. The only "extra" characters were Jacob, Mrs. Potipher, and a small choir.

It worked out very well ... there is really no problem or tight costume changes or anything.
