I am the Operations Manager at a Community Theatre in Northern Arizona.  We have a 38 year history here in Flagstaff and for the last seven years we have had a thriving theatre education component to our company; our TheatriKIDS program. 


Our board of directors voted recently to proceed with hiring a full-time Education Director, in the wake of our volunteer program director leaving, and I have been charged with leading this effort.  I was hoping that someone out there may have a job description for a Theatre Education person, as well as a description of how your children’s theatre component of your company functions if you have one.


We have had great success in the past; however, with the economic downturn in the last year, our program is suffering, and now is the time to act.  We need to develop a written proposal outlining how the new program will look and function as well as a job description.  I would like to continue to run our program as before with some modifications to the duties which will include grant writing.


Any help would be very greatly appreciated!
