Hi everyone...We are performing "Beauty and the Beast" this spring and we have already created a beautiful fountain for the Village courtyard thanks to some advice found in this forum...We would LOVE to create the illusion of water falling from the top of the fountain (Director totally forbids REAL water...Sound not necessary) I have a few ideas but I just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else has done this and the materials they have used.  Thanks so much for your thoughts!

I've never tried it, but the "icicles" that we use on Christmas trees might work with a slight breeze?

Hmmmm...that is a good suggestion...I was looking at things like...iridescent shreds (very similar to iciles only they are more translucent) from Anderson's Prom,or an acrylic rod or some sort of resin...which I guess is what model makers use...only on a tiny scale...I had even thought of fiber optic filament...but I don't know how much, thickness or kind to buy...and it is expensive if I buy something like that and it doesn't work...hmmm...I keep brainstorming but nothing is happening...must be the snow!!!  Thanks David!!!
