I think there is a full moon hanging over our CT.  Everyone seems to have gone crazy.  We are producing a musical in May and our rehearsal pianist, choral director and owner of the theatre/venue are all related.  I know I know.  Anyway the other day the choral director got mad at the director and quit, taking her piano player relation with her.  We need the piano and the venue so the director ( for the love of the show and the actors involved) stepped down so the music people would come back, and they did.  My problem is what if she gets mad again.  Maybe this time it will be dress rehearsal and we are out a piano player and possibly a venue.  Now that they are coming back I am in a position to have all three of them sign a contract but would that really cover me my expenses if they bail or close the theatre on opening night?  Help

At this point, I'd say it would be pretty crazy to go forward with the project without a legal contract on the venue.

Good luck.
