I am thinking about selecting "High Society" (the musical version of Coward's "Blithe Spirit, from the 1960's) as our high school play. I'd love to hear from anyone who has done it or even seen it. My main concern at this point is how long is it? I know this is not frequently done but the need for only one solo-quality male singer is a huge plus in my situation.

Just for the record, "High Society" is the musical version of "The Philadelphia Story."

"High Spirits" is a terrific little show. I especially love the bike riding chorus number (I forget the title). I've never been involved with a production, but I've seen it twice - both productions were quite fun. I didn't notice it being particularly long.

Thanks for the info. I'm going ahead with "High Spirits" and really looking forward to it.
