Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any other Net forums anywhere, devoted solely to making spfx masks, makeup, and stuff like that?

This site is great, but I want to have as many resources as I can.

Cheers,

Kurt.

I am administrator on that site - MOSTLY about mask making, SPFX makeup for theater, film and much MUCH MUCH more.  Membership by application, register, wait to receive auto-generated E-Mail telling you how to activate your account (contact me at mailto:fxman@sapsema.org - fxman@sapsema.org ) and then your account can be activated after supplying required information.

GREAT site - but I'm biased.  Probably the BEST site of it's kind on the Internet - that is what we ALWAYS hear anyway.  Not much else like this for sharing information and exchange of expertise from amateur to seasoned professional with some big names in the film business on our membership rolls.

Thanks, Tony. Looks like just what I was looking for. Your Home page alone was one heck of an attention-grabber! Big%20smile

I've just now registered and am waiting for my confirmation email.

Meanwhile, I'm exploring the goodies. Lots of good stuff there!

Cheers,
Kurt.

Hey Kurt,

THANKS for the kind words.  I will get your membership active sometime today.  As for MY website - well it's sadly been about 4 years or more since I've done hardly ANY updating.  FAR too much time consumed on The Effects Lab since I took over as Admin in it's second year (now in it's 3rd or 4th - not sure anymore when we transitioned from the old Monster Lab.  BUT it's been a great site and resource for a lot of people.  We'll be happy to have you among the membership.  Make yourself known when you're there and you'll find tons of help with some of the nicest people I know.  Just like THIS site - only a different subject.  Great stuff.

Talk to you soon.

 P.S.
By the way if you don't see your confirmation E-mail check your SPAM or JUNK mailboxes.  With SPAM filters and virus software these days - plus some ISP's automatically filtering spam for you, sometimes those auto-generated messages get dumped into spam or junk folders if you have those. Check there if you don't find it in your regular mail.  Also if you don't find it at all contact me at mailto:fxman@sapsema.org - fxman@sapsema.org and I'll just activate your account.  Be sure to tell me what USER ID you chose if you don't get the messages.
