My church is doing a community outreach play of Wonka Jr. I have done some make up work in the past and have a fairly extensive kit to work with. I have never had to paint a person a different color though. We have only 4 oompa loompas but there are 3 that are white and one black, (no offence to anyone of a different color intended). Does anyone have any ideas as to how to paint them all orange?
Would a Ben Nye body paint cover enough? liquid paint vs creme makeup?  I am not sure where to start.

Any help would be appreciated.

We used Ben Nye creme makeup for our production of Wonka.  I had 13 students with all different skin tones and the makeup worked well for each of them.  There are a few pics of the OLs on our website.

Thanks for the reply. The pictures look great. I thought a creme make up would work but wasn't sure. Do you know what the part number was for the makeup? I am guessing it is the CL-7 Orange Creme Color by Ben Nye.
Unfortunately I have 2/3rds of the shades listed on the page but not the orange. I guess I will be buying that now.

Thanks again

Alan

I have ordered a few different oranges from Ben Nye, the CF-17, and the CL-7. I am also getting in a burt orange, not sure what the product number is. When I get them in and test them, I will try to post pictures of the differences and what works best. Our show is October 3
