Needing expert help!

I've followed suggestions posted on this site for effective ways to "blow up" Violet. We're doing Willy Wonka Kids in a 1.5 weeks (yep, time's of the essence). I have a sumo wrestler costume that inflates beautifully, but when we put the costume over it and turn on the fan, nothing...no inflation. (The fan is battery operated and held in a mesh pouch attached to the sumo costume.)

I'm thinking 2 things are wrong - fabric is either too heavy OR the fan isn't getting enough air to properly blow up the costume.

Please advise...anyone with a thought on how to remedy this problem? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

If the sumo wrestler costume inflates, my guess would be your problem is the weight of the fabric for Violet's costume. You may have to remake it from a light fabric ... perhaps nylon or something similar. Good luck!
