I joined here about a year ago and then asked for feedback on web sites.  We had an older, lacking web site and looked to redesign it.  We asked for comments from this forum.  Many people gave us great feedback, comments, suggestions from their own trial and errors and we now have a web site that just launched 3 days ago.  We're a theatre in Iowa.  Please check our site at http://www.osterregent.org - www.osterregent.org

We are not finished yet and are adding a virtual tour of the spaces, online ticketing info and some othere things, but it's a start.  Thanks to all members that shared some good stuff with us!

What module are you using for the season display on your front page?

I started this post a year ago and am back to report.  After having our web site totally redesigned, our stats at the end of one year show just over 13,000 visits and 160,000 page views.  (our old site had about 100 visits per year)  A strong case for taking a relook at your site and making changes.  No, ours isn't perfect and there are better sites out there and yes, ours will continue to be a work in progress.  But it's been very good for our business.  I would encourage everyone to always look at how it could change and help your organization.

If you want some help designing a website for your theatre, I would be happy to do it for you. I have some free time, and would be happy to do it free of charge.

I designed out theatre's website: http://www.brtlive.org

If your interested, let me know!

... also, make sure you tie your facebook site to your web site & vice versa.
