 Job Description 
Plan, develop, implement and oversee CLTP educational programs for learners of all ages. 
Coordinate with marketing/PR staff member to develop marketing plan (tools, schedule, budget, etc.) for all CLTP educational programs. 
Seek additional funding sources beyond tuitions for CLTP educational programs. 
Develop and monitor overall CLTP education budget. 
Serve as staff liaison with the Theatre Academy Committee. 
Prepare monthly status report for Theatre Academy Committee. 
Teach a minimum of two (2) youth classes and one (1) adult class in the fall of each year. 
Teach a minimum of two (2) youth classes and one (1) adult class in the winter of each year. 
Select, supervise, and evaluate all other teachers hired to assist with CLTP education offerings. 
Develop curriculum and lesson plan format to be used by all teachers. 
Ensure the quality of teaching through occasional observation of other teacher’s classes. 
Develop and implement procedures for evaluating all CLTP educational programs. 
Teach all auditioning workshops for both adults and children. 
Teach a minimum of one (1) class for each of the three (3) summer sessions. 
The Theatre Education Coordinator could teach more classes as time and energy allow. 
The Theatre Education Director may direct 1-2 children’s shows a year—one in the fall and one in the winter—depending on need. The rehearsals would take place after school. 
B.A. in Theatre or equivalent professional experience required. Emphasis in theatre education preferred. 
Reports directly to Managing/Artistic Director. 
Position is full time, but schedule is flexible based on teaching and directing load. 
Performs other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.  |
