Some of the most beautiful I've seen - although very expensive to rent - can be found here......

These are incredibly well done.  Two years ago almost I was lucky to work on a show in Huntsville Alabama and they rented these drops - used 9 out of 11 I think he said but this only shows 8 total drops. I don't know what the others were but I DO recall seeing photographs of them on a bulletin board backstage at the time and there were more than 8.  The package cost them like $11,000 to rent for the days they had them but they were stunning.  Great stuff.  I'm sure there are others but these are the benchmark in my estimation for this show.

Thanks, for the info, Tony.  I have an email into Kenmark to get further info.  The drops shown on their website are indeed beautiful!

I am currently producing a production of Beauty and the Beast.  and our set is a turntable castle operated manually by crew techs.  I am not certain what will be done with the set, but I will probably being storing it for rental purposes.  Here is a link to some photos of the show, so you can get anidea of what it looks like.  These photos are from another production I did ina different venue.  The show is being revamped for a different venue, so new set elements were designed and built specifically to play in a new space.

I will have photos of this new show when we open in 2 weeks.  but this should give you an idea of what to expect for the most part!

Please, anybody, let me know if you have interest in this rental as that will help me decide if I will keep the set when the show closes at the end of November!

Thanks and much luck to everyone!

Hello Tammy,
I know this post is after your show but just to let you know, Cobalt Studios has rental backdrops for Beauty and the Beast as well as many other popular musicals.
Unlike Kenmark and many other companies, we rent backdrops individually (ie. you don't need to rent a "package") so you can rent just what you want. Also, we are located close by to you in New York state (the closer to home, the less expensive the shipping costs). We even have a "local" rate for our customers who choose to pick up their rentals. We are within driving distance of the tri-state NY, NJ, PA area.
Also, we have a daily rental rate after the first 7 days - if you need it for 10 days, that's what you pay for - not 2 weeks (like most companies).
To view our catalog: www.cobaltstudios.net.
