Does your community theater use music for preshow and intermission as well as other theater functions such as concerts and awards nights? We do all the time but haven't paid any fees to anyone for that pleasure. Now, we have a group who want to do a concert and the board is suddenly interested in making sure our theater is legal when it comes to performing tunes. Can anyone give me an idea how much the music rights licenses cost, how hard they are to get and how long it takes to get them?
