If anybody has a 45rpm record player (one of the fold-down cover portable types), and would be willing to loan or rent for a nominal fee, we're desperate! Our play opens this week and the promised prop feel through.

It doesn't have to work! Just "be there."

Have you checked with the elementary schools in the area? Suprisingly, many of them still have them ... either in use (no, really!) or in storage. Schools never throw ANYTHING away.
