I'm sure what you are looking for?
Could this be a cloth 'tumbler' or an Oileo or a batten {Barrel, pipe or bar}.
Might this be a local theatre 'ism?
Anyhow our resident guru is M Franks, a member here. Who has 'Studio Productions ;-  http://www.studio-productions-inc.com/rental_order.html - http://www.studio-productions-inc.com/rental_order.html
If anyone can help she will be able to. They produce Scrims, Oiio[oileo] & Cycloramas.
[ could it mean an 'Infinity Cyc']
I hope this will help?

Well your never too young to learn.
I thought at first it was an heraldic symbol, it couldn't be a doughnut or a snoot, tophat or the like.
But I have never had an occasion to use anything like this. Except for outdoor patio para floods & MR16's, but never needed to put a name to them.
G'donya my day has not been wasted, I have learnt something!Smile;-

Actually I thought the lenses were glass.

What size are you looking for? I do have some, but I think they are the 3" size.
