Perhaps someone out there has some experience with Clearcom products...
As it's been 10 years since the theater I work at was built, our intercom system has definitely taken a beating.  What good timing this is because I really want to buy some wireless headsets.
Unfortunately, wireless headsets are very expensive ($3,800+ from Clearcom and HME), so I thought about getting the business class radios from motorola and I found out that clearcom makes an interface allowing intercoms to talk with two way radios!  This product is the TW-40.
If anyone knows how this works or in general has an opinion on what I should do, than you would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I would like more info on this as well.  It would be cool to have everyone on wired clearcoms, except for the stagehands, who are on wireless headsets on the same channel.  We will have to look into this further.  Thanks for the idea.  -Dana

I'm not a full bottler on Duplex radio to wire coms, but most good suppliers sell a duplexer unit that can be worked between wired headsets & radio units, even link to an in-house wired telephone intercom systems.
This is a pd file from Clear Com ;- http://www.clearcom.com/support/datasheet_pdfs/datasheets_party_line/data_pl_headsets.pdf - http://www.clearcom.com/support/datasheet_pdfs/datasheets_party_line/data_pl_headsets.pdf

Which will probably help you as it is in your currency.
It may not work with all the elcheapo radio unit headsets which are available & not much more than toys.
So ensure your present system is compatible when updating.
There is an Aussie Telex Guide Manual that also could help available online;- http://www.telexradiocom.com/binary/Handbook%20of%20Intercom%20Systems%20Engineering.pdf - http://www.telexradiocom.com/binary/Handbook%20of%20Intercom%20Systems%20Engineering.pdf
Which gives diagrams & the like to explain most talk back set ups.
