I'm speaking on stage and need a way to remotely control my sound cues by myself. I can plug an Ipod into the soundboard but Ipod remotes do not have great range, am I right? How do I get a remote that will reach a soundboard that is, say, 100 feet away?

Get the proper adapters to plug the Ipod into your stage snake. This puts it right there by you. Also do not get cheap adapters since it has been my experience they buzz.

a "snake" is the big bundle of cables that run from your stage, or wherever your input sources are, to wherever the control board is placed.

On or near your stage there should be a place you plug your mics into. This is where you would plug the line out from your IPod,
