Hey!

Our theatre has large, plastic marquee letters that we are having much difficulty replacing when they become broken.

If anyone has changed over to a digital marquee, or otherwise, and would like to sell any old plastic marquee letters (the ones we use are about 10 inches tall and fit the white, back-lit, horizontal metal band marquee style.)

If you can see, from the image:

Any of these letters, in any quantity, would be a great addition to our dwindling supply (when they fall to the concrete, they shatter, usually).

Please contact: Jason at mailto:JasonFordham@msn.com - JasonFordham@msn.com or call 706.295.7171.

We are willing to negotiate pay, of course.

Thank you so much!
Jason

We just went to our local sign shop & they made them up.
Using computer cut letters on clear plastic, in red & black set each, it was cheap enough.

That sounds like a good alternative, but are those letters 2-dimensional?  Like I said, sounds like a great substitute, but we were looking for antique, or at least fabricated letters that are 3-dimensional.

I appreciate the feedback and will put this information to the Board of Directors.

They were only 2D, but I'm sure if you give them a sample, they could blow mold a set up for you, in 3d.
The biggest cost would be in making up the mold of the letters. But once made up, you would retain the molds, for future letters to be produced.

Great.

Thank you!  We found two boxes (A-Z) at a flea market, at 25 Cents PER letter, so we picked those up as well.

The last theater I worked at had letters like that.  I don't remember exactly where we ordered them from, but I know that they weren't that hard to find.  Try googling "snap-lok" and see if that's what you use.

Yes, those are the right letters.  Thanks.
