Hey all! Whats are people's thoughts on this '70's show? Were thinking of doing it next year? Just wanted to see what public opinion was!

I haven't seen it, but I have heard some negative things about it.

It's wonderful! Lively, fun, a little quirky and wacky. I've never been involved in a production - but I've seen it several times. Relatively easy sets and costumes. You need GOOD musicians - including fiddlers. Music isn't difficult - but requires people can sing. Every production I've seen has had exceptional choreography.

If you do it, enjoy!

Thanks guys! We tend to get really into sets and costumes, so that will be fun!

Hi! I had the opportunity to play the role of Little Harp a few years ago in The Robber Bridegroom. To this day it remains one of my favorite musicals. The set is fairly minimalistic, in fact many of the inanimate objects are portrayed by actors (swaying trees, doors, etc.). You do need to have people that sing well, but the most important aspect will be to get the right orchestra. It is a really fun show. Good luck!

I saw a tape of a good friend playing Little Harp, it was a fun show, the choreography needs to be creative, and you should definitely take a moment to consider if your community will appreciate the humour of the robber/bridegroom character, but I say go for it.
