How much area do you need to cover and are there actual ice skates to be used on the surface?

Yes real ice skates, about 10 x 5 meter.

Do a web search on "synthetic ice" and you will find a bunch of companies that sell a material that you can put down on a floor and skate on.

What show did you do that required ice skating and how did it go?  We have considered "Hans Brinker" and this may be what we need.
