Help! There was a thread posted (I think) in the acting area regarding casting or not casting actors that are on certain medications. I wanted to respond to it, but can't find it again. Can anyone help me? ------------- "I've worked long and hard to earn the right to be called Diva!" |

Thanks, kiwiholly. I appreciate your help on that, but I tried the address you gave me and it told me that the page was unavailable. Perhaps you can tell me what specific topic under "Acting" it was in and I can surf a bit. By the way, welcome to the Board! I'm pretty new here myself, but that doesn't stop me from being outspoken! Thanks to all who looked for that thread for me, and I blush to admit that, yes, SkiDoc, it was on the AACT board! I only visited there one time, and I guess I read it there. Diva, I just re-read that discussion. I am pretty much floored by the idea of having people list the medications they taking on an audition form. As an employer if we asked that type of a question on an application or in an interview we would rightly be sued, or at the least hit with a discrimination suit by the department of labor. I can not believe that some one would advocate that a community theatre put that on an audition form. I wonder how long it will take until someone makes an issue of that. |
