I'm trying to find the name of a show that ran at the Seattle Rep Theater in the early 70s.  (I believe it was the Seattle Rep theater... it was showing in their theater in the Seattle Center.)  I've contacted them and they don't seem to be able to help me.  It was a long time ago, so my memory of the show is a little spotted.  It was about and undertaker and his daughter (now a teen? early 20s?).  She was born a "blue baby" (heart defect) and has lived a very protected life with her father.  A man comes to visit (a brother? uncle? friend?) and takes the girl out to a festival (I mari gras?).  She dies shortly after returning home.  Does this ring a bell with anyone?  Is this description to spotty to job anyone's memory?

I believe the play in question is titled "A Grave Undertaking."

It was written by Lloyd Gold and is available through Dramatists Play Service.

Good Luck!
