I have been trying to pick audition scenes for our next play, The Curious Savage and am having a hard time. I was taught to look for the French scenes with two or three characteres, but in this play there are almost always 4-6 people on the stage and talking at any one time. What if only two show up to audition. How can I do that?

Hi Barb,

You could have your stage manager or assistant director read in a scene when there are more characters then you have people auditioning. You can even have them read more then one part. I do hope you get a good turnout for your auditions. I saw the play a couple of years ago and liked it.
