I?m sure it is great & innovative, but this is theatre! we don?t bother with exacting measurements. What we do rely on heavily, is the hope of a wing & a prayer of some mythical patron saint of the arts,  [St Ignatious] who might be looking out for us - mixed with empirical gaffer knowledge of tried & true methods. In order for us to  achieve what we require & to ensure our weight calculations are probably correct or not!
Unless you have offered some sponsorship, in the form of a few gold bricks to the ?Greenroom?! I would think the value of this gadget to us, is the same as having flat tyres on ones bike?

Gaafa, mate, I do believe you're thinking of St. Genesius there.  He was allegedly converted in the middle of a play, and was later beheaded.  Many an actor's performance could be improved by a conversion or a beheading, so he's the patron saint of actors.

St. Ignatius was the founder of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), famous for running my alma mater Loyola University, and for getting pea soup spit on them in The Exorcist.

I knew it was someone like that?
That's what one gets from kicking with the wrong foot!
But I wouldn?t have equated actors with gensius, more likely to be more pure ignatious!
I bow to your Genius!

Just a thought POB!
Maybe Techies should adopt a patron saint?
Although there again, why would they need to carry that much assurance!
