Hi. I need there to be fake puddles of water on the stage, for very cheap.
I've thought of maybe mirrors, or blue paper, etc - but I am not very
creative about this...

Any ideas? They would be much appreciated.

thanks

Maybe a cut mirror could work ... or else, a piece of glass or perspex would probably be better. Try that clear plastic resin stuff that you mix up and can mould into shapes ... you could make a better water shape, and add ripples etc.

Hi there. I live in a village close to Stratford on Avon in England and will be directing Noises Offin our village hall. we do not have a tall stage and am planning to perform on one level only. I know that this will give my stage manager and crew a lot of headaches but would apreciate any help from anyone who has or is, to perform on one level. talking to the stage crew and manager, my main problem is having only one level - the crew tell me that everything else I need is OK and having worked on difficult sets nefore, i have every confidence. I still have doubts about the single level/flor. any help or comments, particularly if you have staged Noises Off in this way, would be most welcome. When repying (I pray) please quote Noises Off as the subject - I delete anything I don't recognise or expect.  Tracey

Quite a few groups near you or in the next door paddock at least!
Have staged this on various sized stages!
Also there is a thread about Nioses off here - some where on this site!
As Chris & Mike Polo have done this production!
Also I believe you would have to consider, over there, the relevant H&S regulations about 'above stage' level work!
Best of luck!
