I have to create a "bad combover" for a character. The actor has a smooth pate on the top of his head, so I don't think I need a bald cap. However, his sides are very closely shaved.

I suppose I can use some hair strands attached with spirit gum (and gelled), but that might look odd sort of coming out of nowhere, since his hair is so short on the sides. (Not much time to grow; opening is approaching.)

I also don't know quite where to purchase loose strands.

And, if I go that route, the spiritgum might end up in his hair - ouch!

Any thoughts?
