I'm auditioning for the role of Rizzo in Grease this coming fall and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for audition pieces that maybe they had used in the past or everyone's opinion on what would be a good song for her. i'm open to anything and any help is appriciated!

The question should be not what is the best audition song for Rizzo but
what is the best audition song for YOU. Since I'm assuming those of us on
this discussion board do not know you personally that would be a very
difficult question for us to answer with any degree of accuracy.

The best way for you to find the perfect audition song is for you to do
your homework.

- Research the show you are auditioning for and the composer of that
show thoroughly. Very often there are similar characters in shows by the
same composer.
- Look at shows that were written during the same time period, or are set
in the same time period.
- Look at songs not only for their suitability for your range but also their
suitability for your personality and level of technique.
