We've been struggling to think of musicals for our next season.  Normally we do a big well known show and thats what brings in the crowds during the summer.  I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

We have recently done:

Nunsense, Honk!, West Side Story, Funny Girl, Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, and Oklahoma

Thanks so Much

This is a play with music, not a musical as such! Which might be worth having a look at!

Beauty and the Beast

Oliver!

Kiss Me Kate

Guys & Dolls

Jesus Christ Superstar

Clue, The Musical

What's your distinction, Gaafa, between a "musical" and a "play with music"?

Conclusive proof that God exists, but She's insane.

Or has a great sense of humor.  At least better than Tennesee Williams, eh, Tristan?

If "Cats" is ever released on DVD ....

... Do you think they'll offer a version in "Litterbox"
format?

ILYYPNC

Our theatre just produced iI Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! and it was the most successful musical we have done in years! Though it is written for four individuals - two men and two women - you can adjust that cast as it fits your theatre.

I still have audience members ask me if we can do just one more show, and ILYYPNC closed 8 months ago!

It is not mine but ?Wasserman? the auteur, who made this designation. As he wrote MOLM as a Radio Play originally & music was only added later to make it more commercially acceptable, I believe!
