I wrote a one man show, called "That Day in September," which is an account of my personal experience of 9/11 (having worked across the street from the World Trade Center).

I performed the show both in Los Angeles and Off-Broadway in New York.

My question now is would community theaters across the country be interested in presenting this show, or would it be considered "too heavy" for general audiences?  I'm trying to gauge if the audiences throught the U.S. are ready to see theater that deals with 9/11.  I wonder if it is a piece best suited for special anniversary productions each September, or if it could be part of a theater's season?

If you'd like to read the text of the script before giving any answers, you can find it at:  http://www.thatdayinseptember.blogspot.com - www.thatdayinseptember.blogspot.com

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and opinions.  I'll appreciate them.
