I am producing Li'l Abner, and I am hoping to avoid set changes.  Is anyone familiar with this show?  I have an area that will remain the General's office and a place for the scientists.  On the main part of the stage I will have the monument (center)  and Yokum house (left) there all the time.  What can I put stage right that would fit with the scheme of the town yet be relatively functional? Any ideas? Thanks!!

Here is a suggestion... Spend the time and eneregy finding out how to do
set changes instead of spending time and energy figure out a way out of
it !!!!

I think in some cases trying to avoid set changes is an admirable goal. No matter how fast and clean a set change is done is still tends to break the flow of the show. I have worked on musicals where there were no "blackout set changes" and it really improved the quality of the show.
